Kozyak Tropin Throckmorton Names Cori Lopez-Castro Managing Partner
Lopez-Castro to Focus on Managing the Firm’s Continued Growth,
Addition of New Attorneys, and Tradition of Community Outreach
MIAMI – February 5, 2018 – Kozyak Tropin Throckmorton today announced that Cori Lopez-Castro has been named managing partner. She will serve a one-year term in this role as part of the firm’s rotation of managing partners. Lopez-Castro, who has been a partner of the firm since 1998, also was managing partner from 2011 to 2012.
Lopez-Castro concentrates her practice on bankruptcy, receiverships, and commercial litigation matters. Her practice reflects her extensive experience and expertise with bankruptcy reorganizations and liquidations, receiverships, debt restructuring, and creditors’ rights. Her community and professional involvement includes being elected to serve from 2006-2007 as the second woman president of the Cuban American Bar Association, an organization with which she has been actively involved for over 20 years.
