Join Professors Marcia Weldon and Jarrod Reich, and Javier Lopez, Esq. for real talk on how well-being and success in law school, future practice, and life are inextricably linked.
Professors Weldon and Reich have extensive interest in, and a deep commitment to, lawyer and law student well-being. They bring this focus into the classroom, into their scholarship, and into their lives.
Javier Lopez, a successful partner at Kozyak Tropin Throckmorton, will share his personal story and the ways in which seeking help for depression has enabled him to thrive personally and professionally.
This will be an interactive conversation co-facilitated by students. Your questions and comments will be welcome. Topics will include:
- Competition in law school
- Imposter syndrome
- Fear of failure
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Maintaining balance during turbulent times
- Isolation and staying “connected” (beyond Zoom) to yourself, others, and your purpose.
Students may also feel free to attend with their cameras off and names changed if that is preferable.
We hope to see you there!
