Leah Stein is an attorney at Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton focusing on complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy.
Leah is a Miami native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Communications from The University of Texas at Austin. She then received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida International University’s College of Law. At FIU Law, Leah was a member and Executive Officer of the Board of Appellate Advocates. She also participated in intramural and extramural Moot Court competitions, and as a summer associate, represented Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton in a mock hearing before the Honorable Paul Huck.
During law school, Leah served as a teaching assistant for the first year Tort Law and Legal Skills and Values classes. She also completed a judicial internship with Judge Beth Bloom at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
