Clayton Schmitt is an attorney at Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton. He focuses on commercial, business, and class action litigation. His cases involve a variety of contractual, tort, and statutory issues, including deceptive and unfair trade practices, securities and commodities issues, and healthcare disputes.

Clayton received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He then earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Clayton served as Executive Board President of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. He was also a Research Assistant to 2 professors.

Prior to joining KTT, Clayton worked for a large firm in Miami and clerked for the Honorable Robert N. Scola, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
