Alexa G. Chinchilla is an attorney at Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton. She focuses her practice on bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation.

Alexa received her Bachelor of Science in Communication News Journalism and Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Miami. She then earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. At Miami Law, Alexa was the Editor in Chief of the Inter-American Law Review, a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board, and a fellow at the Center for Ethics and Public Service. Alexa was also a member of the Health Rights Clinic and the Cuban American Bar Association Student Chapter. Alexa received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the John F. Evans Memorial Scholarship in the Litigation Skills Program.

Alexa worked at KTT during law school and joined the firm as an associate attorney upon graduation. Alexa then served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Corali Lopez-Castro at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, and returned to KTT upon the conclusion of her federal clerkship.

Alexa was born and raised in Miami and is fluent in Spanish.
