Latasha Gethers Hines is an attorney in Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton’s complex litigation department and concentrates her dispute resolution and litigation practice in managed care healthcare and complex commercial matters.

Prior to joining KTT, Latasha served as a judicial Law Clerk to the United States Magistrate Judge Chris McAliley and practiced complex commercial litigation, representing large corporations in business disputes in state and federal courts.

Latasha continues to contribute to the bar and the community. She has served as chair of the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee, been recognized by the South Florida Legal Guide, presented at the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section’s Mid-Winter Program and the Healthcare Financial Management Association Florida Chapter Education Session, and provided pro bono services to children and underprivileged persons. She serves on the board of directors of Florida Foster Care Review.

Latasha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and a minor in Speech Communications from the University of Florida where she was inducted into the Student Hall of Fame in 1994. She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and is a Bill Colson Scholar.
