Latasha G. Hines is an attorney in Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton’s complex litigation department, and concentrates her practice in healthcare, complex commercial litigation, and real estate disputes.

Prior to joining KTT, Latasha served as a judicial Law Clerk to the United States Magistrate Judge Chris McAliley and practiced complex commercial litigation, representing large corporations in business disputes in state and federal courts.

Early in her career, South Florida Legal Guide recognized Ms. Hines as an “Up and Coming Lawyer.” She has been a presenter at the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section’s Mid-Winter Program and the Healthcare Financial Management Association Florida Chapter Education Session.

Latasha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Florida where she was inducted into the Student Hall of Fame in 1994. She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.

Latasha has served as chair of the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee.

This gift translates naturally into the practice of law where I help clients navigate complex issues impacting a variety of businesses. Particularly, I enjoy assisting hospital systems with managed care legal issues that ultimately benefit the community.
