New World Condo Fire Tenants Class Action Lawsuits
A Miami Court has approved two class action lawsuits to represent former tenants and occupants of the New World Condominium (who were not condo owners or their spouses) related to the January 28, 2023, fire. This website has been created to provide these tenants and occupants with information about those lawsuits and to assist them in documenting their potential damages.
Two class action lawsuits have been filed on your behalf. One lawsuit names the New World Condominium Apartments Condominium Association, Inc. (along with its unit owners, collectively called the “Association”), and the other names the Association’s former property management company, Prestige Management Solutions, Inc. (“Prestige”). These lawsuits aim to recover money for tenants and occupants who legally lived at the New World Condominium on January 28, 2023, and suffered financial losses or property damage due to the fire and subsequent relocation. The lawsuits claim that the negligence of the Association, its owners, and/or Prestige or their unlicensed contractor caused or contributed to the fire.
