Daniel DiClemente is an attorney at Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton. He focuses on commercial, business, and class action litigation. His cases involve contractual disputes, government-related litigation, deceptive trade practices, large-scale fraud, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations claims, shareholder actions, mass torts, and legal malpractice. Daniel regularly litigates in state court and federal court, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has experience taking and defending depositions, arguing hearings, preparing a case for trial, and developing client relations. Daniel also has experience in arbitration proceedings.
Outside of KTT, Daniel is a member of the Young Professionals Council for Legal Services of Greater Miami, a group committed to providing efficient and free legal services to low-income families in the area. Daniel serves on the Executive Committee as the Development Chair.
Daniel received his Bachelor of Science in Business, with a Major in Finance, from the University of Florida. Daniel then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, Daniel served as an executive board member of the Florida Moot Court Team, where he was awarded Moot Court Member of the Year, a Best Oral Argument Award for the Appellate Lawyers Association national moot court competition in Chicago, and Winner of the Maguire Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Daniel served as a Teacher’s Assistant for Trial Practice, Legal Writing, and Appellate Advocacy, and was also a Research Assistant to a preeminent Constitutional and Property Law professor. During law school, Daniel interned for Judge Cory J. Ciklin at the Fourth District Court of Appeal as well as two civil litigation law firms, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
Prior to joining KTT, Daniel worked for a civil litigation firm in Tampa, Florida, and he clerked in Miami for the Honorable James Lawrence King in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Daniel joined KTT upon the conclusion of his federal clerkship.
