John received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University where he majored in Comparing Political Systems and minored in International Relations. He later received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law.
Prior to joining Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, John was an associate at a local firm where he focused on construction litigation.
Before becoming a lawyer, I was an athlete. The practice of law is a lot like sports. Both require dedication to the craft and an ability to enjoy the “process.” As an athlete, I enjoyed the process of perfecting my craft in preparation for competition. It was exciting. Now, as a lawyer, I find the process of developing and litigating a case in preparation for trial even more exciting.
