Biography

Jessica Elliott practices in Kozyak Tropin and Throckmorton’s complex litigation department.  Ms. Elliott has experience with commercial litigation matters including complex financial transactions and real estate development financing disputes, breach of loan and credit agreements, lender misconduct, valuation of businesses and business assets and representing individuals and corporate clients in partner, shareholder, and corporate governance disputes.

Ms. Elliott received her J. D. degree, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.  While at the University, she was the Senior Articles Editor for the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal, President of the International Law Society and a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board.  Ms. Elliott earned a B.A., cum laude, from The George Washington University where she majored in International Affairs.

Prior to joining Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, Ms. Elliott was an Associate in the New York office of Dickstein Shapiro, LLP where she was a member of the business litigation and financial institution dispute resolution groups.  During law school, Ms. Elliott served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Peter C. Dorsey of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
