American Corn Growers Association

This Webpage was created to provide information and materials regarding the case that was filed in Delaware federal court by the American Corn Growers Association against Monsanto.

As part of its ongoing effort to protect its members’ interests, the ACGA has filed an antitrust lawsuit in Delaware federal court to halt Monsanto’s anticompetitive practices relating to Roundup herbicide. The suit alleges that Monsanto has improperly interfered with free and open competition for glyphosate herbicide, unfairly limited farmers’ herbicide choices, and overcharged farmers for Roundup. Our lawsuit seeks a court order prohibiting Monsanto from continuing its unlawful conduct. To read a copy of the AGCA Complaint vs. Monsanto, click here.

While the ACGA complaint does not seek damages for farmers that were overcharged due to Monsanto’s conduct, growers in various states have already decided to file their own Class Action Complaints seeking damages. As of today, these states include Mississippi, Iowa, Wisconsin and South Dakota. To see a copy of those Compliants please click here.
