Mindy Kubs is an attorney in Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton’s bankruptcy department. She concentrates her practice on all aspects of bankruptcy matters and related commercial litigation. Her practice has included the representation of commercial and consumer debtors in all aspects of the bankruptcy process and related litigation, including pre-bankruptcy workouts; local Chapter 7 trustees in the administration of debtor estates; and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Mindy also has considerable experience drafting appellate briefs for submission in both state and federal court, including the United States Supreme Court.
Mindy joined KT&T in 1994; however, she left to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk to United States Bankruptcy Judge Raymond B. Ray for five years before returning to the firm. Mindy also briefly relocated to Birmingham, Alabama where she practiced law with Maynard, Cooper and Gale, PC.
She earned her J.D. degree in 1994 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. In law school, Mindy interned for the Honorable Joseph L. McGlynn, Jr., United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1991.
