Michael Lorigas is an attorney in Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton’s litigation department.
Michael received his B.S. from the University of Central Florida where he majored in Psychology and minored in Legal Studies. He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. Michael also earned a Masters of Law in International Arbitration during his time in law school.
While in law school, he was a member of both the International Moot Court Board and the Charles C. Papy Jr. Moot Court Board. Michael was recognized for his oral and writing skills by being inducted into the Order of the Barristers. He was also a three-time Dean’s Fellow, working in constitutional law and assisting foreign students with American legal writing.
Michael is interested in international law and completed the Zurich Exchange Program where he worked with students from the University of Zurich in Switzerland on hot topics in international commercial law. He was also selected as a panelist for the VII International Arbitration Congress in Costa Rica, discussing practical issues under the ICC Rules.
